With a variety of projects that are in progress, it's time to introduce you to one that has just gone recently been completed.
A beautiful home in Kenmore owned by Thom and Eileen, needed a kitchen remodel for a specific reason. Their son is graduating this year, and what better way to celebrate than in a brand new kitchen!
The house design is similar to many built in the 70's. The front door enters a split stairway with the kitchen at the head of stairs as you enter the upper floor. There you were met by a wall with a living space to the left and rooms to the right.
Thom and Eileen wanted to make the kitchen the heart and soul of the house, so they called LZL.
The design team of Jim Moran and Brett Westlund transformed the kitchen to a space you WANT to hang out in.
Gone is the old wall, which opened up the kitchen to the dining and living rooms. Now a beautiful gathering space is balanced with a curved countertop where guests can sit and converse while meals are being prepared, as well as the perfect set up for serving for a large party.
This new design features the next level in classic Northwest style with a reworked floor that echo's the curve of the bar into the living area while using the existing wood floor material. Old meets new with gorgeous Amber Glass fixtures, Quartz Countertops, Porcelain Floor Tiles, Travertine Backsplash, Stainless Steel Appliances and more.
The entire remodel was envisioned in April with the deadline of their son's graduation in Mid-June, so the timing was paramount. The LZL team worked diligently to make sure that they were always on track to meet the deadline of the big day. The home owners also decided to upgrade some materials during the process to ensure the perfect environment for the celebration, and beyond.
